professionals who are employed by organizations
in all types of student receivables.

What is the purpose of the Great Plains Collectors Network?
The Great Plains Collectors Network was established in 1991 to
provide an opportunity for persons involved in post-secondary
education debt collections to form a professional and social network.

Currently no other regional association or student financial aid group
services the needs of the educational credit and collection community.

The purpose of this organization is to:
Promote and increase the level of communication between personnel
involved in the collection of student accounts receivable and loan programs at
both postsecondary and other educational credit-related institutions;

Foster the professional preparation, effectiveness and association of debt
collection professionals;

Stimulate the communication of information from organizations, either
government or private, whose activities could have an impact on member’s
goals and responsibilities;

Provide meetings, workshops and individual training for the personnel of
participating institutions at minimal cost;

Encourage the involvement of administrators at individual institutions.

Who may join the Great Plains Collectors Network?
The association draws its members from all types of postsecondary educational
institutions, lenders, collection agencies, and other related organizations from
Nebraska, Iowa and surrounding states.

What does it cost to participate in the Great Plains Collectors Network?
One of the primary objectives is to keep membership costs to a minimum.  We
strive to underwrite a portion of the costs associated with the organization and
its seminars by receiving contributions and services-in-kind from members and
corporate partners.  You may preview the Registration page for current costs.

Officers and members of the Steering Committee will be happy to answer
any questions that you may have concerning the Great Plains Collectors
Network.
